jok 3,474
Nope. Izal and semolina/tapiocci were about the worst. Having said that, we ate some lovely things that I'll admit few today would stomach. Tripe, chick lungs, tongue, etc. Strange as well, not sell by dates and I can't remember mum going to a supermarket because there wasn't one. The home made bread, OH I'm going to get boring now but we never suffered and always ate well. Jok.

I'd love to see a comeback of offal etc We are absolute food nazis in our house, not health freaks or anything just hate processed food and love cooking everything from scratch. It's a massive shame so many young people cannot cook, my brothers and I were all brought up to cook, clean, iron and do household jobs
