Blueboybilly 164
Went out locally this evening for an hour with the Whip/Grey/Beddy bitch and there was a light drizzle in my area. I have heard a lot of fellas on here saying that rabbits are more active in this weather, and I have to say that from my experience this is true. But why?? Why are there more rabbits about in this weather? I have noticed that it is significantly better with a light drizzle but I can't put my finger on why! 1 Quote Link to post
shaaark 10,190
Moisture on the grass, when was the last time you saw a rabbit drinking? Lol Quote Link to post

Lol But there is moisture in the grass weather it has rained or not. Grass is made of 85% water so when a rabbit is eating grass it is also drinking water.. that's why you never see a rabbit drinking lol 1 Quote Link to post
Maximus Ferret 2,057
I think light rain in the air deadens sounds a bit so rabbits hang around longer before they hear you, same as wind. I don't think they like getting wet though as very heavy rain seems to have the opposite effect. 3 Quote Link to post
