T50 Torch

I've got a couple of T50 torches off L.L. Great bit of kit, but the heads seem kind of wobbly in certain positions

 

I read somewhere that taking the torch head off and putting a certain size rubber ring on the tube fixes this but I'm damned if I can get the torch head off to do this.

 

Can anyone explain in simple terms how to get the head off the torch?

Take the lens off then unscrew the L.E.D pil its all that holds your head on,then the head unscrews .Couple of very thin O rings at the base of the thread and a turn of P.T.F.E tape wobble stops atb

That would explain why the brute force method wasn't working.
