went on the bunny's today with ian met at 9.30 should have met at 8.30 but traffic just stood still for 12 miles went to the same field we did about a month ago 8/11/2016 but the opposite sides it was a long walk and very cold with ground frost we ended up with 17 rabbits 13 to the netts dug a few and even got 2 up a stop end all very healthy rabbits with plenty of fat round there kidneys 4 to the guns this large field should be bottomed now so farmer happy left at 3.40pm and got home at 5.45 bumper to bumper for 18 miles not a good day for traffic but a enjoyable day to be out only 16 in pic as one was mush due to the shotgun hitting hard fox fodder

Had a call from Stuart a few days ago asking if i would go and have a look at a field that a farmer asked if he could sort a few rabbits.Had a look and there were a few about so we decided to have a night session last night. We wrapped up well as the forecast was mixed with rain and snow showers and it was going to be cold and windy.

Most of the rabbits were coming from a neighboring piece of land to graze on this field so we had to try and get rid of a few.

We set up a couple of hundred yards apart and the shooting was steady nearly all night. We had to shelter in the vans a couple of times during the night once for a snow shower and again for a heavy rain shower.

We left the rabbits where they fell and collected what rabbits we could when it got light this morning.

It was a pleasant suprise to find we had got more than we were expecting to when we counted up.

We picked up 87 rabbits of which 2 large rabbits had myxy so we slung those before the photo.

We had 49 good large rabbits and 36 small rabbits which should please the farmer.
