Crow 1
That's a Bellman & Flint. Alternatively, get yourself to an Army & Navy shop for a spade, not the smallest personal issue ones but the ones they have for tanks. Good spades for a fiver Quote Link to post

gaz 284
Ive got one, payed nowt for it as i was given it by a mate who does landscaping, fencing and decking ect,he recomended that they are handy wee spades that are a lot stronger than they look.Although i wasn't convinced but as i said i payed nothing so i thought i would give it a bash with my usual digging spade left in the car as a back-up....just incase, but i have to admit it is a ok wee bit of kit although i havent and prob wouldnt do any heavy digging with it... but what i have done with it up to now being mostly 2-3 foot digs and some of these through stoney ground have been no problem for this wee spade, adding to this with no weight to it and a handy wee size their handy if your out on your own with what other gear your humphing aswell as your bunnies if i lost it tommorow i would proberly go out and buy another Edited December 10, 2007 by gaz Quote Link to post
