Collected The Hw 80 K

WOW

I didn't expect this rifle to feel as well made as it does. I've had a few TX 200's and loved them due to the build quality but this thing is a peice of engineering genius.

I fitted the new Hawke Varmint sf scope with the Sportsmatch mounts and have to say it feels amazing.

I think I'm going to remove the silencer to cut down on overall length.

As I don't see a silencer being much use on a spring air rifle.

Also why is it stamped Hull Cartridges?

Thanks

Dan

OK cheers Viz. This thing is truly beautiful. I'm going to run it in and zero it on Tuesday. Going to give it a full tin to run it in. Then see how she performs. Took delivery of various pellets today but got some cheap eley pellets to run in with.

Going to see what it's like once run in as it's had a full welsh willy tuning kit fitted if it's not to my liking I want to look at getting it professionally tuned by a gunsmith. Possibly Sandwell field sports as I've heard great reviews of them.

As an extra, you won't need to be sending it anywhere, do it yourself and save 200 quid. Basically.

I want an 80y now :D

Thanks Mac. I'm even more excited now. I love the vintage look of that stock has a lovely look of age to it. I'll leave the mod on then I think. I've previously had and loved several TX 200's just fancied a change with a decent break barrel. Im going to get it run in and chronographed to see what's happening.

I put couple of pellets through it last night in the garden and it sounded like the pellets had a fair crack to them so going to get it tested lol

Thanks again

My god. Thats gun porn. Look at it... An old full length Mk1 WITH a Simmons 'No f***ing about' duplex optic.

Right. Thats it. Gonna get an 80y. For real this time.

Probably not... that feeling you get when you see something someone else owns and want it! :D The woodwork colour... its like treacle.
