I'm thinking about getting a couple of ferrets but wanted to go out a few times to get to grips with how it all works in the field and to pick the brains of proper ferreters throughout the day .

 

I don't know what I have to offer people apart from a willing dogsbody for the day . Done plenty of digging in my time for work doing foundations etc so if you want digging I will jump in. If you want a brew sorted, I'm your man .

 

If theirs anybody willing to help me out I'd be forever great full.

Just got home from the first ferret outing. All we took were the long nets and a couple of purse nets. No dog. Just an outing to get the stinkers going again. 4 nice rabbits, no digs and early bath. That young man is what you could do with in the learning curve. OH and a fat wallet. Beer to be paid for LOL?

Had 4 me self mate hard work on a not so big hedge 3hrs but enjoyed it they seem to taste better when you graft a bit for them atb Flacko

Ashby De La Zouch. We had our first little outing with ferrets on Sunday. Just the odd purse and the long nets. Steady 4. We've been getting the big numbers with the rifle. Jok.

Just got back from Scotland. Really nice few days. What am I greeted with on return? 10 rabbits and 10 brace of pheasants. Sunday's will never be the sa e for the ne t few months. Lol.jok.
