Pelletpower 203
Ive just got in from my first real few hours shooting with the impact. I have to say I can't emphasise enough how quick you can reload for second shots if you need them or to move on to the second target if it hasn't moved. As some of you may know I changed the Vulcan to side lever cocking and was happy but it doesn't come close to the positioning of the impacts side lever. I managed to shoot 23-25 rats this evening, picked up 15-16, it was all recorded and will be in my next video. www.youtube.com/pelletpower (Make sure you subscribe to be notified of uploads) One problem I have with the impact is a couple of times this evening one of my mags wouldn't let the probe through due to miss alignment, caused by the see through plastics top slightly moving round a little bit, it should be an easy fix though. The other mag I have works perfect so it's definitely no issue with the gun, just the spring tension in the mag I think. A few people have been asking if I was happy with the gun but as I've not really used it I couldn't comment, well as of tonight I can officially say...yes I like it. I still need abit of range time to get used to it but so far it's ticking all the boxes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3 Quote Link to post

Pelletpower 203
It's due to the mag tension Spring. I'll be looking at mine later today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote Link to post
rick12345 181
It's due to the mag tension Spring. I'll be looking at mine later today In the case of the.177, the magazine is a poor fit for the rifle. It is not designed for the impact. It is a generic fx mag, and is a fairly loose fit. The first one was faulty, as you chambered a pellet, it was shaving a small piece from the skirt causing it to be unstable and fly all over the place. Quote Link to post

philpot 5,103
I saw that as well Si, out and out copy. I have a friend in London who got the first Impact in the country but as far as I know, he has had no issues with mags at all and seriously loves the gun. It is without a doubt a very clever piece of kit but as yet I can't find myself loving it, I WILL get the Wildcat though sooner or later. Phil 1 Quote Link to post
