Lurcher To Lurcher

Any body on here keeping and maintaining a good line of lurcher to lurcher bred dogs ? I don't mean dogs for specific work I mean good allround lurchers that can turn a hand to most jobs and can take the odd knock ? All the lads I go out with all have either daytime saluki blooded dogs or bull x don't see many people with lurcher to lurcher dogs. I'm in the market for a nice strong bitch pup been offered a few decent pups of mates but fancy something that's just out of good honest lurchers is anyone got any prospects planned ?

I wish I had a line but I have a excellent Lurcher x Lurcher who's 10 years old now. Last of the line which goes back quite a few decades.

I hope I find him a nice suitable bitch as he's the real deal as far as a all round Lurcher goes.

Sirius my advice would be find a similar type Bitch and get to it asap or you will regret it it's only when there gone you realise how handy they were with them types. I wish you the best of luck finding something suitable ?

I am going to put him at open stud or/and a advert I'm edrd. Sadly there is only a handful of related bitchs left around who are knocking on a bit now.

He's hunted pretty much everything works to gun, works cover and is very hardy. Poor feckers lacking teeth and youth but is still handy.

 

Found a bitch last year but she was not in season when brought to the dog.

What will be will be.

Yes possibly, but I would prefer a Lurcher.

I don't want to increase size and I don't know what a grey would offer better than a lurcher
