Chid you are normally the man for tree identification

I had the dark green one as ellwoodi before I edited my post ... How long have you had them and how long have they been in that size of pot

the light green one looks like a family member of....leylandii, and the bottom one looks like the ellwoodii type, hope this helps.

Familiar with leylandI and most but not the ornamental garden ones could be a Lawson type also thanks I'll look into them

Been in pots since last autum as dug them out the ground in my current place to move into new place and haven't got there yet they will be in the ground in there new place in a few weeks got two of the Elwoodi to go either side of a gateway in my new place the soil is ordinary garden soil but they are fed often

Light coloured one I thought of goldcrest because ellwoodii and goldcrest are used alot in pots and planters

They came from planters yes the taller lean one has grown loads while he others quite slow I have a dwarf one aswell that's 20 year old and is only around 1.5 ft tall
