Welsh_red 5,057
Oh right. Just up the road from the Nag's Head. That's about 3 miles from here. Where'd you drink up there? Quote Link to post

The Nag's Head we go to now and then for a good meal. They used to do great home cooked meals in there, but they have a new landlord on there since 10th July and we haven't been there since, so we don't know if the grub is still as good. If it's just for a drink, then the 3 Horseshoes. Quote Link to post

fireman 11,465
On that stretch of the river the rules change by the yard practically. Some stretches you can use only worm, others only spinners etc. I don't know the ins and outs, but I have spoken to a few fishermen down there and one side of a bridge is one rule and the other side is another and the rules seem to change at different times of the season too. I was going to say some rivers a float is banned and i was thinking about around where you are ,just show him where to hire those stupid round boats with one paddle and i think any method is allowed if you can stay up right in the fecking things . 1 Quote Link to post
