You have to play it to appreciate the skill involved, its one of the most technically diverse games ever invented, those who say its boring have probably never played it.

i think that is true for many sports, its only by having a go that you learn how skilful they can be

Love cricket in all its forms, and I spent many happy days at Trent Bridge as a lad, but the Indian Premier League takes some beating !

 

I can marvel for hours over the subtleties of a top flight spin bowler. I reckon that once you can appreciate the skill involved in that, you'll be hooked !

I can watch a decent 20/20 or ODI, can't do the tests in long spells. Mate of mine goes to the odd test match now and again, from what he says it's a bloody good laugh.
