Hi all, I've just got myself a lovely little 8 week old lurcher bitch but she's got a slight kink towards the end of her tail. Has anyone come across this before? If so do you think a splint would sort it out. Not that it's a hindrance to her in any way. Any advice much appreciated thanks

Sounds like it been broken. Don't think anyone can give correct advice over internet without seeing dog. When I'm in doubt of something I seek a vet.

My mate got a Wheaton x it's 2 now it's got a kink in its tail was born with it hasn't made a difference to him but like Fieldsporthunter said if in doubt just pop to the ts

Same with her she was born with it. Take her to the vet anyway see what they say. Thanks for the replies chaps just wondered if anyone else had come across it as it's a first for me

One of mine got a slight kink on last two joints of tail not made a shit of differance ....... She's still f****n useless!! Atb

My bitch snapped her tail clean in half at 12 month it's been a cracking dog it's 8 now
