bigmac 97kt 13,836
There a cracking rifle they did have a few problems when they were made abroad But now they are made here once again mine was a single shot one but one of my mates uses a ten shot and i must say i was impressed with it deadly silent with the mod that comes with the rifle if you do get one get an early brummy made one or a later one ,,,IE,,in the last two years as all the problems have been sorted but like every thing else once they sorted the problems out the price went up on new rifles so you can still pic them up second hand for around £250 or less for a full kit mine loved JSB exact jumbos but mine was 22 There a long rifle mind and the cocking bolt makes a loud click when you cock the rifle some times you can quieten this down with a little oil on the bolt and just pull it back and forth a few times and put a mark on the mag as when its in you will no when its coming around to needing filling and all way put it in with the mark on show . apart from that there are no serious problems to look out for O,,, look out for knocking the barrel out in the field as it can be knocked out of line but this can be fixed in the field if you carry aln keys jut loosen the barrel band and it will Aline its self then tighten the band back up. It is hard to knock out of line mind but did happen to me You will be amazed at how accurate they are and out to some good distances to ME........WOULD I GET ONE ................HELL YER TO RIGHT I WOULD Match any top pcp shot for shot and that in-clouds the hw100 of any cal atvbmac  2 Quote Link to post
tomburras 2,730
They are top airguns and amazingly accurate. I use its close relation - the RWS excalibure and its a gun that i will never part with and nothing iv owned has ever come close. definitely reccomend the raider! 1 Quote Link to post

Dose the rws suffer from the loud click when cocking the rifle Tom its annoying when you have taken out one rabbit then you go to load another into the breech and the rabbit feck off because of the click lol atvbmac  Quote Link to post
