Paul, nothing wrong with fluffy ears and bushy tails, nor choosing to be deaf, and running off for an hour. That's what all saluki crosses do don't they?

Cheers, well he's doing well, very confident and out in the day with my older dogs. I think it's nice to allow him to join in the general mooching process. Typically he does have a high prey drive and wants to get stuck in, but his immature muscles and skeleton just nowhere near ready. He took to basic commands very quickly and doesn't bat an eyelid to livestock, however he's not too sure around the Buffalo's .... I'm sure come the age of 6/7 months he will test my patience and start becoming a rebel!
