The one 8,545
We went out today just to see the farmer and keep him happy before packing in the ferreting and start lamping the rabbits till the cover gets too high , just a nice easy couple of hours ferreting where the dog marked and what surprised me was doing big burrows and getting a single rabbit but they all flew out which surprised me . We had one reading of 2 foot but the jills had it in the mouth of the burrow ended up with five which a couple of months ago would of produced more but that shows we must be doing a good job saw the farmer on the way home and he said just crack on 2 Quote Link to post
chrismdd 787
Good to still be out at the end of the season. Near enough finished down here, although just been asked today to clear some rabbits up on the allotments so may give it a visit with the ferrets or pop up after dark with the airgun. ZeusPolecat 185
Have you had many young? Seen lots down on the flood plains but wondering if I could squeeze out another weekend on the hills. Not sure if It makes much difference? Maybe coincidence but higher ground seems to slow them down. Quote Link to post
