Hunter Versus Farmer: It's Genetic

Recommended Posts

Having Googled Robins Page's book, The Hunting Gene, which I have never actually read, I then discovered this bit of info on Google https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunter_vs._farmer_hypothesis

I always knew that it had to be genetic, but what about the link with ADHD and hunting? Interesting or nonsensical theorizing?

Interesting read Skycat, I remember them trying to force Ritalin on me at school because I wouldn't sit still, but could sit on the canal bank with a fishing rod all day catching nowt or waiting a couple hours for a ferret to surface. I'd like to read more into it if there is more any links.

Thats probably because you wanted to be fishing or rabbiting but were forced to go to school. I was exactly the same.Spent more time daydreaming about fishing and bird nesting than thinking about school work . Only im too old for them to have come up with a posh name for it when i was there.
