skycat 6,174
Having Googled Robins Page's book, The Hunting Gene, which I have never actually read, I then discovered this bit of info on Google https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hunter_vs._farmer_hypothesis I always knew that it had to be genetic, but what about the link with ADHD and hunting? Interesting or nonsensical theorizing?

MickyB 327
Interesting read Skycat, I remember them trying to force Ritalin on me at school because I wouldn't sit still, but could sit on the canal bank with a fishing rod all day catching nowt or waiting a couple hours for a ferret to surface. I'd like to read more into it if there is more any links.

I was exactly the same.Spent more time daydreaming about fishing and bird nesting than thinking about school work . Only im too old for them to have come up with a posh name for it when i was there.
