Compo21 27
Who uses snap caps when storing their shotguns? Heard differences of opinions in using them so wanted to know what you guys had to say Cheers Compo21 Quote Link to post
jacknife 2,005
Won't make the slightest bit of difference to your shotgun To me just another gimmick you don't need Quote Link to post
Deker 3,491
Early days I used them, haven't for donkeys, no need in my book! Quote Link to post
shropshire dan 467
I don't use them but if I felt the need to use them I'd just use spent cases. Does the same job in my opinion Quote Link to post
samboy 317
Used them for years dont bother anymore.. Have read on other forums that they are a waste of time. As long as you dont dry fire the guns. Quote Link to post
Deker 3,491
I don't use them but if I felt the need to use them I'd just use spent cases. Does the same job in my opinion After a belt or 2 with the firing pin the percussion cap on spent cases is wasted, so they don't do the same job. I still don't think you need snap caps anyway so it doesn't really matter! Quote Link to post
ratbuster 808
I use them, only for preventing damaging the firing-pins. More about peace of mind than practical use. Quote Link to post
