Who uses snap caps when storing their shotguns?

Heard differences of opinions in using them so wanted to know what you guys had to say

I don't use them but if I felt the need to use them I'd just use spent cases. Does the same job in my opinion

Used them for years dont bother anymore.. Have read on other forums that they are a waste of time.

As long as you dont dry fire the guns.

After a belt or 2 with the firing pin the percussion cap on spent cases is wasted, so they don't do the same job.

 

I still don't think you need snap caps anyway so it doesn't really matter!

I use them, only for preventing damaging the firing-pins. More about peace of mind than practical use.
