Floodlit Rabbiting

Recommended Posts

After leaving it too late for a dusk shoot i headed down to the golf course with the NS50 but its rained so much the last few days that most of the usual spots are flooded so....no rabbits.

Just up at the top end of the course however which is next to the road you get a nice floodlit green thats raised and after a quick peek through the bino's i could see a few bunnies up on the higher ground so made my way round the back and settled into the brambles and all those lovely bloody sharp gause bushes and ambushed 4 from 45 yards as i couldnt sneak any closer due to the lighting, then all at once the musky smell of a dog fox got my attention and the remaining rabbits attention and as he appeared that was that for the night. Not a bad tally though
