THE 29th ANNUAL ALL IRELAND TERRIER, LURCHER & WHIPPET CHAMPIONSHIPS will be staged at the IRISH GAME FAIR at SHANES CASTLE, ANTRIM on Saturday 25th June ( Racing) and Sunday 26th June ( Show)

 

Director Tom Barry and I met this week to draw up a list of classes and prize funds for Ireland's longest running terrier, whippet and lurcher championships. are as follows :

We are considering some racing innovations but provisionally will include ALL IRELAND RACING CHAMPIONSHIPS for:

 

1. Lurcher Pups

2. Elite Lurchers Under 21"

Traditional Lurchers ( Hairy Dog/Collie Type)

5. Traditional Lurchers Under 23"

6. Traditional Lurchers Over 23"

7. Bull Cross Lurcher Heavy

8. Bull Cross Lurcher Light

9. Retired Greyhounds

10. Terrier Racing

We are prepared to listen to other proposals for show classes or racing classes. ALL EVENTS EXCEPT THE MASTER McGRATH CHALLENGE ARE OPEN TO ALL. Qualifiers are available to suitable shows throughout Ireland for the Master Mc Grath.

 

THE MASTER MC GRATH CHALLENGE will be staged on Saturday 25th June at 12.00 noon. This is a pre qualified race. Qualifiers are available to suitable shows throughout Ireland for the Master Mc Grath.
