matt1979 766
The lurcher pup and terrier are really starting to gel of late and hopefully more of this too come. Probably should have moped this one up but can't fault the terriers little bit of grafting and the young pups effort. Just got to keep getting them out to gain experience and hopefully the pup will start to work alongside the terrier a bit more and have some luck atb hopefully the video works Edited February 15, 2016 by matt1979 1 Quote Link to post
terryd 8,955
Great bit fun that Matt they look keen. Love seeing the lurcher nose in the air scenting the hedge Quote Link to post
matt1979 766
They are no world beater terry but can't fault there effort which is good enough for me. Not upto the standard of your vids sadly, to be honest this was just an evening mooch as I don't take my phone out when working but it's pretty obvious when they are keen on and managed to get a glimpse of the action atb Quote Link to post

matt1979 766
Mainly whippet touch of grew and touch of collie in the mix looks very whippet like in the flesh but bit chunkier stands 22tts and has a better thicker coat IMO than most whippets suits me down the ground to be fair atb Quote Link to post

matt1979 766
Terry it's a nice little walk not far from where I live make it over there regular. The hedges are littered with holes and yes went to ground, they spent the next 5 mins with there heads down various holes and the lurcher whining away in excitement. In truth it's a very rare catch on this walk as the odds are staked in the rabbits favour but keeps them in shape and they enjoy it atb 1 Quote Link to post
tb25 4,627
Gets frustrating at times don't it Matt...all good fun though.. Always gonna miss for than you catch. Quote Link to post
matt1979 766
Tb25 yes can be frustrating at times but to be honest I prefer this kind of mooching to work on the lamp, even though we rarely catch on this walk, just like seeing dogs work as a team And terrier loves these little hedgerows atb Quote Link to post
