Horses for courses Devon. Some like one or other, some work both. I bet if you asked 10 ferret men for their thoughts you' get 10 different answers. There are so many logical answers to the question and a hell of a lot more illogical. Best work with both and form your own conclusions. We work with 2 of each by the way.

I used to be a Jill man myself, but after a few seasons of digging down to Jills only to find they have been kicked off or been dragged 3 foot up the tunnel I started working Hobs more... And haven't looked back.

 

However with the big Hobs, you're almost guaranteed a few digs whereas with a small Jill you might avoid it. But no guarantees.

 

So like Jok says, horses for courses I suppose.
