I've been in this game for over 40 years whippet boy and the only time I've seen holes in a collar like that are when a nail has been put through a collar to change its fit on the dog's neck. You have it your way. However if you graduate from a whippet to a bullcross don't post stories about it fighting lions. :bye:

have it your way mate but why am i going 2 knok nails into my dogs collar :laugh: and the holes havent penatrated all the way though, close but not all the way ;)

here's a picture of my old bitch,( now dead and gone years before the ban) if you look close you can see the collar is being pulled away from the neck by the fox after having her in the face, if i had known at the time it was imposable for it to happen and my bitch was some-think special i would have took a closer picture LOL.

Whippet boy, you invited comment and I gave you mine. Because you didn't like my comments you resorted to foul language and low-life insults from the safety of cyberspace. Lots of things don't add up: the fox walking away as though nothing had happened, the collar bitten right through, and calling your account "a little story". In a later post you suggest the holes may have been caused by branches! In another post you also retract your statement that the fox had "bitten right through" and decide that the holes had "not penetrated right through".

A fox couldn't gain sufficient purchase on a collar in a struggle such as you describe, and in any case its instinct is to deliver several snaps and bites not to hold on like a bull- blooded dog. I am afraid your account is as accurate as your spelling.

A fox will hold on tight, and not let go, in the right situation.

I have had to pull a foxes jaws open to make it realease

a pet dog of mine before.

bezza wondered were you had got to... :D well since you have been in the game for "40 years" i am going to asume that that you missed the picture that mush uploaded, you can clearly see that the fox has hold of his dogs collar  and as i posted the pictures i said that it had almost been biten right though but had not quite, so what you claim to have been in the game for 40 years but you can say anything over the internet just because it hasent happend to you dosent mean it carnt happen to anyone else what ever happend to being open minded  just because i am young dosent mean i dont know anything, it could have well been the branches but i doubt that it would have gone in to the collar ;) and as for me describing a struggle i dident really go into much detail because i dident really see alot up until the point i got into the bushes to get my dog off  so you have your veiws and i have mine lets just leave it at that

not everyone wants to read your shitee :laugh:
