Do I Inform The Local Police??

Hi guys,

 

Last night I was fortunate enough to gain some land to shoot from a local farmer I know.

 

I have an acknowledgement form from the BASC website to get signed by him and a copy for myself but do I get a third copy signed to forward onto the local police?

 

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Is that with a shotgun or firearms?

 

If it's a shotgun, no.

 

If it's firearms and you have an open ticket (or a closed ticket and you know for certain the land is cleared for that calibre), no.

 

If you have a closed ticket, you'd need to phone them to see if the land has been cleared for a certain calibre. If not, they'll have to come out and assess it.

Not unless you need to. i e your on a closed ticket.

If you have an open ticket then you only need a copy for yourself.
