bigmac 97kt 13,842
NAPIER POWER AIR GUN PISTOL RIFLE PULL THROUGH KIT .177 .22 BARREL CLEANING NEW You can buy one of these or make your own with fishing line put a hang mans noos at one end and put the little bits of cloth in and pull tight then take your pod off and feed the line down the barrel if you are cleaning a pcp you may need some thing to get hold of the line to pull enough out to get a hold of with your fingers and pull the line and patch out do this until there is no dirt on the cloths and you will need to change them a few times Do not use STRING as it may snap in the barrel :nono: you will need some barrel oil but once you have clean,d the barrel put some dry ones down her to clear the oil just click on the link above and you can get them cheaper hope this helps BM atvbmac  3 Quote Link to post

big napper 3,673
Ive had it a few months but dont know if its ever been cleaned, ive put loads of different pellets through it and know now what it performs best with so i want to give it a good clean and maybe it might get a bit better ( if possible ) cheers Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,568
What rifle do you have BN and which pellet seems the best up to now ? Quote Link to post
big napper 3,673
Hw100 .177 and ive been trying jsb exact, rws superfield and some lighter ones called defiant but i am getting the best results every time with bisley magnums, i tried them all again this morning and with the same results the magnums are always in a tighter group and seem to hit a lot harder Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,568
HW 100 eh, in .177 - i sometimes shoot these guns. First job, get the barrel clean mate. Pick your choice of pellet and put a half a tin, or more even, through her, - to "lead the barrel", which in turn tightens your groups up "considerably". My mates who have HW 100`s like to use the AA Fields Diablo 8.4 grain for all shooting, hunting, hft, target, myself included. Your choice BN but do clean your barrel, pick your pellet and stick to that brand only and "don`t clean the barrel again" unless she becomes inaccurate in the far and distant future. atb. 1 Quote Link to post
big napper 3,673
Cheers mark i might try the AA pellets before i clean the gun if they do better than the magnums i will use them, like you said which ever is best now i will use all the time when the guns cleaned. Cheers mate Quote Link to post
villaman 9,982
AA express 7.9 gr fantastic in mine or jsb heavies 10.3gr Never found Bis mags any good in any gun Quote Link to post

Cheers mate No, no, mate. You "must be clean barreled" for each and every trial of pellet. That`s why i mentioned the most popular pellet with the HW 100 lads, at my club is the AA Fields Diablo 8.4 grain. Clean that barrel BN and trial the pellets with each clean barrel. "Good luck mate" 1 Quote Link to post
