villaman 9,983
Well I thought I would put a few pellets through the HW95 today and through the chronograph Remember this HW95 of mine is untouched apart from the a different mod , put 50 Falcon accuracy plus 13.4gr ,one pellet read 612fps and one pellet 618fps and the rest came in at 613-617 , thats only 4 fps spread over 48 pellets ,this matches my old BSA Ultra .177 regged by XTX AIR Not bad for out of the box HW95 and pellets straight out of the tin !!!!!! VWman 232
My 95 has only been gone a week and I am missing it already but it has got my mate away who had been dithering for a month so I let him have it to get him away and let me try the 98 out. I think I will get an imp to fill the gap. Quote Link to post

mark williams 7,550
The Imp is not available in .177 i believe, - is that correct lads please ? Quote Link to post

villaman 9,983
They only do the imp in a man's cal and my god it's very good 2 Quote Link to post
jonnie bravo 572
Aye mark .22 only as treecreeper has said- think the 99s is just too jumpy in .177 at full power. Out of the box, I think I'd be more tempted to buy a Walther LGV in .22. Failing that an AA prosport/tx200, in .177 or .22. I think the HWs are lacking a bit of finish at the moment Quote Link to post
Rez 4,957
LGV mate. All over that... Quote Link to post
treecreeper 1,136
It's a fettled 99 anyway though ain't it? So nowt to stop you fettling your own? 1 Quote Link to post
