stealthy1 3,964
that link is July has there been an update? Y.I.S Leeview This is what I was told by someone who was on the panel for us, I don't know the guy, we just got talking due to similar interests . Cameron had finally got enough voters in on his side to take the hunting act back for review after 10 years, he would have won by a small margin, and the ban would stay the same, unchanged. 2 dogs to flush foxes to a gun. Well he pissed off Sturgeon off, thus Sturgeon was going to use her force to vote for the act to be brought in line with Scotland, and allow any number of dogs to flush. But Cameron pulled the English votes for English laws stunt on her, and a hour before it came up, Cameron shelved the vote for another time, so it's hovering some were now until he can have his own way. It's all down to votes. We are something like 30% of the vote with farmers, pesties, shooters, and all the other minority groups that make us up. Cameron was on a loser, If he won the vote, it would stay the same and he would just say that it's been 10 years since the act was passed, and it seems to be working. That way he would lose not that many voters, but if Sturgeon had voted to have it repealed then she would be forced to pick up some the the 30% of our votes. So Cameron bottled it. If anyone knows if any of this is true, then bung in your quids worth. I seem to remember a while back some people putting up some voting for pages saying we had to vote that week, but July is to far away for me to go back on my content, it only goes back to October. So if you were one of the people who put the pages up, give me your views. Maybe there is hope.
