Ideation 8,217
Are sals not used on boar, jackals etc in their native lands? Also is the 'Arab' in the name 'bull Arab' which is a common hybrid pig dog in oz not a ref to the saluki blood? Quote Link to post
suffolkpoacher 219
why the bull blood added if salukis are as tough.as anything else tho? f***ing wind up you are you love a but of fishing an you always seem to catch 2 Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,217
why the bull blood added if salukis are as tough.as anything else tho? Lol Because I would imagine that 99% of salukis in the U.K are not a patch on those found doing those kind of quarry in Tajikistan. And because a bull blooded dog is a damn sight easier to enter with out screwing things up! And because we breed a ridiculous amount of absolute shite in the u.k I mean. . . . . lets be realistic. . . . there are dogs that are half pit bull (supposedly) who won't kill a fox. . . . . . . . . . what chance do your salukis have! 2 Quote Link to post
bonehead 92
You obviously can't see past the breed you keep, but hey if your happy then so be it, dont make you any less full a shit tho wow anybody that disagrees with you gets abuse lol ! Quote Link to post

TOMO 28,693
Are sals not used on boar, jackals etc in their native lands? Also is the 'Arab' in the name 'bull Arab' which is a common hybrid pig dog in oz not a ref to the saluki blood? You would think so ,,,but no , it doesn't refer to saluki,,,, Bull Arabs have pointer in the blood,,,,there a cross between grey,,bull,,and pointer,,,,but I think there more line bred type than just a cross ... Perhaps one of our ozzy lads can clarify... Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,217
Interesting, I knew it was pointer, bull and grey but was told by some Aussies that they used some sal blood for the feet and heat tolerance. Obviously that could just be them! Quote Link to post
Red Center 165
The first line of bull arabs was greyhound x GSP x bull terrier but nowadays each line has a got a little bit different make up. Mastiff, foxhound and some other breeds have all been added to the point that it's almost impossible to say. In regards to the saluki, i haven't heard that one before but who knows. If there is saluki blood in them it's extremely dilute now, to the point it wouldn't make any difference. Quote Link to post
