Acorns

Recommended Posts

Gave the stinkers a freshly shot woodie last night, got up this morning and there was a ribcage and pair of wings left as you would expect but there was also an acorn that looked like it had been half eaten by one of the stinkers. Is it anything to worry about? I have checked em all and they seem ok. wasnt sure if it could be toxic to them?

Not sure about acorns, I often find ivy berrys in the hutch after feeding pigeon as well as peanuts from someones birdtable. Also grain from the grainstore down the road. During WW2 some people used to use acorns to make a coffee substitute so they aren't toxic to humans so Id imagine ferrets would be unaffected.
