Fist Time Out With The Cricket

Changed scope after work, and zeroed up in the back garden. Got to the permission at 8.45. Got set up and walked into the yard at the pig farm. First thing I noticed was how much easier it is to carry around than the kt when all the nv kit is on.

After a couple of mins a rat appeared from under a pallet. In my bid to put the first 1 in the bag I missed. Anyway the next rat wasn't so lucky. A nice easy 20 yarder. The next was sat behind a piece of corrugated pipe. Another head shot and another 1 in the bag. It didn't even move it just slumped. I had another 5 then called it a night. 1 criticism I have about the cricket is that the magazine is a bit fiddly to load into the gun. Could do with an extra hand. It's probably just me. I will get used to it.

Not done any distance work with it yet, it takes a bit of getting used to cocKing it. I automatically go to where the cocking lever is on the hw 100. They havery a very nice smooth trigger and all the signs are very good. They are just slightly different to use. But I absolutely love mine already
