Mister Gain 1,764 Posted September 29, 2015 Report Share Posted September 29, 2015 I managed to watch quite a lot of the progress of the eclipse as I don't sleep too well. Thought I would try to get a shot of the 'blood moon' with my undergunned lens. Turned all the lights off and waited for what I thought would be a decent(ish) photo. 7.1 second exposure. As I went back to the camera I saw the dog was sniffing the tripod, the b*stard, and had been all the way through the shot. Result = Failure of epic proportions. :laugh: blood-moon.JPG looks like a willy. My daughter-in-law in Aussie drew a similar conclusion yesterday.
