My dog would not share kennel space with your fallow taking whippet.. :icon_redface:

You mentioned lies, I first said i found it hard to swallow.. Then you never got back after several prompts tho you had be on line and on this thread..

Mate i have caught more than you on a full moon and can fecking prove it.. You get personal and run down my dogs as thats about all you probly can do..

as for the 21 inc beddy that wont even weigh 40 lb you musta be wacking fawns

Glad you think i am very experienced tho a novice could see through you and your statements and wonderful threads and posts :tongue2: Lets just have a picture of this wonder dog you dont have to put a pic up of a fallow as i am sure it will be hard to get your hands on this figment of your imagination.. I recon you beddy whippet must have been crossed with a 243 :D to be pulling them single handed..

Again i wont lower myself to the name calling why do you have to ?? Do you find it hard to express your self?

lets try and keep the thread constuctive the lad wanted to know if they were stong enoght?? And to say beddy whips will take fallow to be is a bold and questable statement beddy grey yes but a small beddy whip i could belive will tackle roe and mabie struggle..

Did your whippet cross take them on the lamp? Big feilds? hunt them up day time? I recon one in full flight would take some shutting down and a short slip..

Try and answer these questions if you can with out swearing and calling me names and bring my dog capibiltys into this...

I would say the reason is Kane is that they are a better size for bushing as well as the usual rabbiting/ratting and hunting duties. I would never have a terrier specifically for bushing when a Beddy/Whippet will do it better and a lot more besides.

As for capabilities my 19" bitch catches rabbits, rats and her speciality is feral cats which send her into a psychotic rage ! :D Above all though she will hunt ANYTHING and her nose is just amazing. The amount of stuff she puts up for the bigger dogs makes her worth her weight in gold to me ! :icon_redface::yes:

I agree with you brummy, i have two beddyx lurcher bitches, they only stand at 17" .You cant beat them for bushing and they beat my plummer bitch to a rat most of the time.

I wont call you any more names as it seems to upset you too much

The bitch in my profile is the Beddy x whippet which had the deer on the lamp, but has also coursed them during the day without bringing them down.I also know the owner of the Dam of my bitch who is an Irish guy who lives in Hertfordshire the Dam was also a dab hand on deer and charlie too .Staybaytackleondig off of here used to hunt with him all the time so there is another bit of proof. If i am out for anything other than rabbit i use my big bitch normally but the beddy X whippet is more than game enough. Not once did i say she could take a 12 stone fallow.( are they all 12 stone where you live?????)

i carried one she had across field after field so i know that was not 12 stone

I have found that the Fallow go down without even a fight, you seem to think they are monsters or something

The names dont upset me just theres not need for it..

No fallow where i live have to travel an hour or two and i have not seen many but the ones i have were monsters and were not falling over more like taking whole fences out with them..

if your dog takes them i think thats a real good feet as i just could not emagine it for the life of me..

Keep at them then

Honest Giro

They are more like sheep once the dogs latch on they seem to go into shock

they dont even make loads of noise like the munty's.

theres 'catching a fox' and theres 'doing a fox'

,

i dont know much about beddyx but like whats been said, once in a while ok , blinding on the bunnies tho .

and of course if you would of been doing constant fox ( pre ban of course) i would say in a biased way ............ first cross bullcross

as for a fallow taking whippet.........................................................................

never came across fallow growing up in scotland but always thought they would be something else to bag ..anyhow what a anti climax that was as they go down like a bag of spuds in essex ,,i got them down as one of the dozziest animals in britain ..they just seem to be way to easy to confuse ..when ever i see them i have to leash my dogs up cause they just bowl them over and deer hunting with a dog in now not legal....for sure when i was younger a scottish roe gave you a better slip with these deer trying every trick in the book to shake the dogs ,swimming rivers ,goaring dogs ,,goaring people ,heading for roads and railways ,,sadly i just don,t rate fallow in the essex area never took them anywere else in britain as the ban came into force and that ended that but some nights it was like lamping sheep ,,,just to easy for me and i felt they were not worthy game ,,in the end in the run up to the ban if there was a fox or a deer in a field i choose the fox everytime .now that is sport ...run charlie run :bye:

  • 2 weeks later...

After much much much thought I have decided to take a close look at the very good Whippet/Greyhounds that are avalible to me, these pups are from the same camp as Mollies Stag as far as I know this is a well known racing bitch and the man who has them is very knowledgable and has produced some class dogs. I have decided to look at these dogs as it is a reliable start to my carear with running dogs. Does any one know of this breeding?
