NEWKID 29,339
No interest at all, so ideal so far.. The other 2 are good so she should follow suit with a bit of luck. 2 Quote Link to post

neil cooney 10,416
Those sheep in the photos are used to dogs and that helps a lot. It's great to see a pup looking all around but ignoring the sheep, as if they're just part of the scenery. The lurcher I have now I brought her into the same field of sheep every day (with permission) and they got used to her as she got used to them. She loves to chase a tennis ball and by the time those sheep went to market I was able to throw a tennis ball straight at the sheep and she'd chase and retrieve it without incident. Touch wood, LOL. 2 Quote Link to post
NEWKID 29,339
The pups 11 weeks and has been up there a few times now. The farmers an old friend of mine so fine with me "using" his sheep for stock breaking.. Me and the daughter plus the dogs are far more interesting to the pup than the sheep, so like you say they are just something in the background. Never know I might make a ferreter out of her yet lol 1 Quote Link to post
