Using Electric Treadmill

Years ago I bought an electric treadmill and when the ground was frozen solid. Use to put my lurcher Smokie on it set at 5mph. And let here trot for and hour. Sometimes 1.5 hours. And use a soaking wet sponge squeezed into her mouth muzzle. After being on it just the once. She would walk into the garage stand on the treadmill and stare at me to put it on. Any one else used 1.

Never used one but I've read that the free running ones are better as the dog creates its own work rate, be interested to know views from people who have used both

i put my dog on the mill he does 3 mile at 6mph could do more but hes gets loads of walks as well,imagine there's a few on here that use the mill

Are you using a normal treadmill that is made for people or ones just for dogs? ive thought about getting one but didnt know if it was sutible.

I use one for dogs mines called a dog jogger I can tilt the machine set the speed and how long they stay on it

I think any one will be ok black dog. A people 1 I had.i wouldn't Mind getting hold of another for my bull x.

yh i use a normal treadmill works fine

all my dogs on treadmill for 1hour a day plus road work, plus free running every day
