ive used them all and a cheap pair will work but if you want to see the difference maui jim will light up your underwater world , if you got a bit of kit that's not cheap look after them , you can catch a fish with a system 2 but it don't compare with a tibor theres a world of difference

you can get a £5 pair of polerized glasses off a looky looky man on the beach in spain but will the glasses looky looky after your eyes,,, I doubt it very much

Fox polarised XT4 brown lens £15.99 delivered from eBay, used them for years carp fishing and shooting, I've had a few pairs over that time, cheap enough that if the get scratched/lost its no big deal.

Esp ones 15 quid come with hard case and a lanyard to save you dropping them in.

i have always found polarised sunglasses to be invaluble while fishing,and would always recomend low to medium priced ones ,i certainly wouldnt buy high end premium glasses,unless you have money to burn.

Hi guys.

 

The forum hasn't been emailing me to let me know when this thread has been updated so sorry I haven't checked in.

 

Seems like Maui Jim, Costa or Oakley are the top brands with the price tag to match, I might buy some cheap ones for now and see how I get on with them while I put aside some money for a better pair.

I bought a pair of these for now so I can play with the different lenses ans see for myself how much difference the lens colour makes, then I might splash out on an expensive pair like the costas at a later date
