In FACT, your body can only digest about 50% of the protein in the egg when uncooked. Raw eggs are only about 50% bioavailable, where as cooked eggs or pasteurized (heated) eggs are over 90% biodigestable to the human body. Uncooked eggs have a digestability of only about 50% by the human body.. so they are a little digestable, but not nearly as efficient as cooking the egg which brings the digestability of the egg to 91% by the human body.
