j j m 6,630
Thanks chaps im not using the rapid as much, as my favourite gun now is macs old 410 classic in 22 with the geordie thumbhole stock, this is the quitest gun ive ever shot and I just cant miss with it but the thing that stops me picking it up and taking it out through the woods and the rough areas I go througj is its in mint condition and I dont want to damage her, so its the rapid and pro sport for hunting and this one for bwhen im shooting from the car as I love it and dont want to mark it,im getting soft in me old age Quote Link to post
chrismdd 787
Nice going, that decoy does the job. I've just bought one of those cheap hawk decoys to try and will first be painting it up to match the prolific buzzards that hang around here and are often seen being mobbed by the corvids. j j m 6,630
Good luck with it chris it will do the job as long as you keep mooving it around, years ago I done a test one one of these I put one on a fence early on in a summer morning where there was plenty activity with maggies crows the lot I hid my self and just watched no gun, I could not belive how near the corvids tried to mob it from above and landed very near it from that day on ive used different birds of prey decoys to shoot corvids, nothing works better then a eagle owl decoy with a maggie at its feet boy do you get some fun popping them off Quote Link to post
