sussex 5,803
had a couple of hours on the blacks again today , they are our worst pest by miles .Plotted up by one of the ponds , tucked tight under the tree canopy with a limited view and restricted shooting were I could virtually only shoot birds coming straight at me or going away ..the window on crossing birds was tiny but we're I was if your not completly hidden they have you spotted miles away ..any way managed to pick up twenty odd with the the same number behind me in the dence cover ..Not to bad for a couple of three hours , not that this makes a dent in the numbers there are hundreds upon hundreds of them , trying to get nine or ten guns out for sat to cover all the spots , I can't believe the trouble I have getting people to turn out ..every ones available for the pigeons but not it would seem for the corvids who cost us ten times what the pigeons do .. 1 Quote Link to post

sussex 5,803
Another couple of hours on the corvids netted these , again let down with a couple of guns who never showed up ..trying again Thursday , and again it's a struggle getting people to turn out . Unless we can cover all the feeding areas they just move of soon as the first shots go off ..Edited to say there were about eleven more that didn't get picked up Quote Link to post

Maybe if people knew where you are you would get more guns. the "Southeast" covers a big piece of ground. I would imagine there are lots of people who don't have any perms of their own who would jump at the chance and in your case it wouldn't matter if they were beginners because the noise would keep em moving toward the more experienced guns. Just a thought. 1 Quote Link to post
