Been a great 3 episodes so far

 

The first one where they were living on the side of a active volcano was surreal. They seemed a decent enough family but why would you take you'd kids to live on the side of a volcano. In the end it erupted and they survived but the risk involved was mental

 

2nd episode with the bloke and his family living in Belize was a awkward watch. The man seemed on edge at all.times and glared at his wife whenever she was asked a question. Almost as if they were forced at gunpoint to go with him. The kids were the shining light for me, so adventurous and quick to get their hands dirty for the household. Bet they love living in the wild

 

3rd episode tonight was my favourite and not because their Welsh. Living in Sweden in the mental cold and snow was beautiful. Inside of their cabin looked lush. Luckily for him his Mrs was a bit of a stunner so he had that goin for him . Poor bustard having to drive 30 mins to Skype his kids tho, that must have been rough. in the end when he was saying he'd be happy with his life if in 15 years he was still doing the same thing in his sweetish cabin I loved that bit. " I don't want for much ". Pretty sure my life stresses would tumble away if I followed his way of thinking. So.much shit and bits and bobs in modern life.

 

Really glad I read a thread on here about this show. Think it was I'm reference to the dogs Argentina hunting in first episode

kev needs to be a bit more honest about his opinion instead ballicking

In the end tho his opinion doesn't really matter, no point him digging into them being really harsh and pissing all over what they've done. They would just kick him out of camp with days if he did

Yeh been watching them ,,good shows,,,,the second guy in Belize was a bit fierce,,,,

 

Loved that truck camper thing in first one,,,,support vehicle for the Paris Dakar rally,,,,,brilliant bit of kit that was,,,,

 

 

And incredible houses they had all built with seemingly no building knowlage

 

 

Them folk the other night in Sweden ,,,,,,why the f**k were they carrying the water like that,,,,put the barrels on a sled and pull them ,,,or better still get the dog to pull,,,or snow mobile,,,,

 

And if you insist on carrying yourself ,,,get a length of seatbelt , with a hook on each end,,,across your shoulders like a yolk

I missed the first one but have watched the second and third shows. The family that moved to Belize , firstly why somewhere so dangerous and I don't mean the jungle but apparently Belize has the population size of Leicester and is the size of Wales. And yet it's in the top five countries in the world for murder and rape and narcotics ?. If it where my Family is at least move them somewhere where they don't have to worry about getting your throat cut everytime you get supplies lol.

The third show was good seemed nice folk as well to me in a nice country . I would like to do it for a few months lol but I don't think I could do it indefinitely , to lonely an existence for me .

ive watched all four and I think the only place id struggle with would be the Sweden one. im not sure why I just honestly don't think I could survive there, but a desert island, volcano or jungle, I think id flourish

I watched the one about sweeden , what they've learned and how they live happily amazed me , my Missus though didn't see it from my view at the end saying " what kind of idiot would do that to themselves " my reply me all she said was " with you're mood swings when you're hungry " . so I don't know if it makes me an idiot considering it an amazing achievement , or her a miserable cow with no confidence in me
