The one 8,629
We started a system a while ago at work any plastic bottles or cans bought out the shop or a vending machine , could be put into a recycling machine and you got a 10 pence voucher you could get the vouchers redeemed off your next purchase or exchange for cash . It was a handy scheme you could oftem pick up £30 on a shift , it was to shut at xmas but they have extented the system now as there saying twain or somewhere like that is buying all the plastic and cans and there looking for expanding it all across the country , Its funny seeing the guys moaning at each other as some of them queue up to put up to three black bags of cans and bottles into the machine and a few are going to miss the students while there away for the four months summer break
kanny 21,953
I should imagine the recycled value of one of them is a fraction of a pence so someone's on a looser?...fair play to you for exploiting it tho.
The one 8,629
Aye when it started the shop put all the bottles and cans up ten pence but I never buy anything from the student shop so it was no lose ,I collected £300 worth and it paid for the ticket and all the drink at the xmas party then we got a load of pizza at the end

I'm surprised nobody else has heard of it or doing it . And what surprises me is we have three recycling machines on the university one in the corner of the main dining room the students just walk away from the tables leaving there bottles and cans on the table no into recycle or just too lazy I know my answer
