j j m 6,636
well very windy on the farm today but i managed my first crow ,with my eagle owl decoy and a maggie at its feet after a lot of sqawking it eventually landed for a nice 25 yard head shot stone dead, second was a crow that landed on the wire above the decoys, went for a head shot but ended up getting it through side of the neck as it was bobbing around in the wind,3rd shot was a maggie sitting on the fence opposit the barn 35 yard heart shot took it straight out,the pro sport is a lovely rifle to use and boy does it stop them in its tracks 1 Quote Link to post
chrismdd 787
Sounds great. Have thought about trying an owl decoy (they recommend ones with glass eyes?). Round here we have loads of buzzards but you can't get a buzzard decoy so would a hawk one be of any use? Quote Link to post
