Rez 4,961
Are these range finders any good from Hawke? Im tempted, dont really want to spend a lot as I wont rely massively on it, but just to need gauge some distances. Im looking at the 400 and 600 models mainly. Nice one. Quote Link to post

Got a new LRF 600 (£125) or LRF 900 (£150) if your tempted Rez. Quote Link to post

Dr B 186
Curious coincidence. Someone (family member) just bought me the Nikon Prostaff 7i Range finder as a gift. I didn't have the heart to say I don't really use / need one.....anyways, after googling I find out its got a near £300 price tag (BLOODY HELL.....). Been playing with it in the garden. Its deadly accurate, fast, and works in the near pitch dark, and that's probably where the money is invested. However, its low on additional features like no bright illuminated readout....I can see that being a problem in the woods, but I feel a test coming on. I saw the Hawke ones during my Googling and tbh, I would have gone for the mid-range one (600) if buying for myself...as it looked like it did everything. The extra £150 for the Nikon, not really worth it IMO, though I do need to test it in the field. Quote Link to post
Rimfireboy! 1,463
I've got the 400 model, no problems with it and it does what I need from it. Quote Link to post

I'm a bit put off buying stuff from here, no offence of course and I'm not saying you will, but had a pain in the arse deal that I bought and had nothing arrive kinda thing a month back. jonnie bravo 572
I used to have a 400 pal. Nice bit of gear, works well. Not had or used any other rf's to compare though, not really my thing tbh Quote Link to post
