Quickie In The Back Garden

Ha, that got you thinking lol

 

well it was a quick zeroing sess in the garden after a thoroughly sh*te morning trying to fix the tinternet, bloody thing still aint 100% but I can at least get back online.

Bought some new glasses for the s410 and have been trying to set them up for a while.

Lead is falcon acc plus/Jsb exact express 13.43 pushing 11.5 - 11.6

First pic is after zeroing

Next was 10 shots at the yellow 25mm target, pulled the second shot !

so a good end to a sh*te day for me even if it was only at 22 yards in me back garden

Rez, thats why i took the pics I couldnt believe Id shot so well after having a crap day.

 

The plinking just sort of settled me down I think and I had to keep that target ( read sad git for that bit) lol

 

Mark, I am looking for a .177 for targetsP

 

S, forgot to say Rez that falcon menace ret is beautiful mate now wonder you were looking for one

Yes Rez - take a look at "HW 100 kt .177 results" by typing into the search engine at the top of this page,- better than any paper target but you have seen this before.You dont believe me ?

a .177 is no more accurate than a .22 at sub 40yds..... :thumbs:

 

Shooters vary of course, but if you strap 2 guns into sturdy bench rests, zero and shoot, they are the same across typical hunting distances. Of course, .177s make smaller holes in paper targets, but that's cos the ammo is smaller - consistency on centre-mass is the same unless going into the 50yds and above region...... :boogy::boogy:

 

There is a rumour that .177 shooters cant be arsed to stalk into range. I couldn't possibly comment...... :angel: (only kidding mark.......)
