Sundays Offering

Recommended Posts

I had organised a day out for a couple of guys and to give me a hand doing a bit of permission two hours away as the owners always asks why dot you do the field to the council houses the reply because we always run out of time .

Anyway Sunday morning joe 1888 comes over we introduce ourselfs and go to pick up dogger and haul ass to Montrose we arrived about 8.30 and as we pull up i showed the guys a few rabbits running about on the field to the council estate and said we will hit them later .

My son an i started on a burrow in front of the ladies house and joe and dogger bolted one from a mound and it slipped the net and back netted itself in our burrow , so they got some abuse about just exercising them while we where three up  . Then we split into two teams of two going up each side of her big field we started at a mound at the side of her exercise yard and lost the first rabbit back into the burrow we had just ferreted :censored: another one went into a pile of scrap and the dog grabbed it , then we got a five foot dig at the bottom of the mound . . We moved slowly up the side getting the odd one then the ferret grabbed on inside the burrow and we where to slow to grab it so yet another dig in ash then the rain started and it seemed everything was a dig they weren't keen on bolting . The owner came out and took her horses in and said your soaked are you no packing in ?. i went to see joe and dogger and they only had a couple of rabbits from the right hand side and had started coming back down the left hand to met us and where held up by yet another dig :censored: . We thought about stopping for lunch and seeing if the rain stopped but it just turned to sleet so we jumped in the car with 11 rabbits for the day and i stopped down the road a wee bit with the heater on till we thawed out a bit then headed home .

Joes never been in touch i think hes in the huff for getting landed with dogger

Doggers never been in touch i think hes in the huff as his new Aldi trousers got wet and dirty and he cant return them

And all the rabbits are still running about that field beside the council houses for another year with there charmed lives :laugh::laugh:
