Any Co2 Pistol Fans?

Recommended Posts

Just for a bit of fun iv been looking into co2 pistols so I could spend a bit of time plinking and plan to make a range in the garage at tin cans and targets with my girlfriend and the girls. A revolver type would be more fun I'd imagine.

So far iv fancied this....

Has anyone any recommendations?

Anyone who as had one I would be interested to hear!

Cheers

Tom.

Depends what you're looking for. BB guns are less accurate than pellet guns, obviously. Personally, I couldn't be faffing around with using those imitation bullets -- that would get extremely tedious extremely quickly, for me -- and I'd be bound to lose one sooner or later!

I really enjoy my Crosman 357. I bought a few spare mags for it (it comes with 2) so I can blast away happily until the CO2 runs out without having to worry about fiddling with reloading -- just whack another mag in.

I also like my 2240, even though it's only a single-shot.

They're both acceptably accurate for plinking, out to 25 yards max, and pack a reasonable punch.

Cheers coypu hunter, I'm really fancying the imitation bullet ones to be honest.

It's only for a bit of fun! And a nice reminder of when the brocock TAC guns where legal.

Used to love shooting the brocock cobra.

Hmmm tough decision!

Yea amazing wish they never banned them

Make sure you get the rifled barrel version though much more accurate obviously

Even keep eyes peeled for a 2nd hand one

Unfortunately the Tac guns can't be bought and sold now as the law was changed :cray:

I think the only way to sell them is to sell them abroad, otherwise they have to be handed in for destruction :(

I was offered a Lee Enfield converted gun with all the cart's at a bootsale, I told the bloke they were illegal unless he obtained an FAC for it years ago and that he wasn't allowed to sell it even if he had the FAc but he was adamant that because he bought it new, he was legal

Never saw him since so I don't know if he sold it or not (Or was caught by the law and locked up!! :hmm: )

Well I went to look at one and got it. Its a Dan Wesson 6 inch nickel and black grips. It's really good quality and heavy. Just had an hour in the garage and it was peformed great. Not quite a hunting tool but just a bit of fun! Here's a pic....
