Just found this on youtube, very interesting.   http://youtu.be/xPxjnkCvORs   TC

As above I find myself following the mole threads. I have never trapped a mole in my life, to be honest never wanted to up until a week ago. I always thought that there must be more to it than placing

Let me tell you TC;   I recently filed last year’s accounts and realised I’d earned at least 50% from moles – so, for good or ill, I am a molecatcher. I’ve spent the last three weeks doing nothing

It's a thing of great beauty Moxy

It's only when you get your hands on it, and feel the quality that you realise what a disgrace all the modern copies are....

More than 45 years old and it would catch today if I was brave enough to risk soiling the little darling

rough guess waspie, how many has that taken down over it's life?

That's a question that's impossible to answer

You see, I spent years, yes, years, trying to find a genuine JND trap. That one came from a dealer about three or four years ago and it's at least 45 years old

I paid good money for it; and I've never regretted it. When you look at it, and feel it in your hands, you know it was made with a purpose in mind that was little to do with making money from it's initial sale; and much to do with it's capability when correctly placed in a mole run.

I suspect its fair share, but its previous owner never cared for it like a respectable trap owner would have. But fate lent its had this time and said trap found a new home here, with me and is now loved like it should be.

You could never love that baby like me (it's rightful owner) does

Just keep it nice and safe; daddy will be along for it very soon

Lifted all mine today for a wash down and to get ready for the next job, I'm off with the wife for a 3 day seaside break on Tuesday morn. Don't know whether to go to the new site in the morning and reccy the place with a token gesture of traps or leave it until I get back.

Some shite weather on the way and this area will get good snow cover in blizzard conditions, so Monday morning in a whiteout doesn't sound appealing. Other option is hit the club and watch Man City destroy us then not give a toss until Thursday.
