jamesS410 106
I'm not sure if I can input my scopes reticle which is the Christmas style ladder on the mtc mamba lite If your struggling to work out the scb aim points on chairgun have a look at strelok instead. It takes a bit more setting up but it has the MTC reticles on its database and is at least as good if not better Quote Link to post
John Stott 202
John Scott That's a bit bold about day states mate ! Lol And when your lad is used to the m4 .he'll be out shooting you so there Atb mate Dave David dont start me off ( and a few others ) about Daystate! I bought a Regal, after a load of hassle it now shoots as it was designed to. Basically I have rebuilt it and fiddled about for eight months, fitted some Rowan parts and ditched their so called moderator. The lad and his Mk4? Well he fannies about so much he will never be self sufficient in meat. We call him "gadget boy". Like all his generation they are sucked in by electronics. He is on deployment at the moment, I have a lovely surprise for him when he charges his battery pack up. Its called HW100 2 Quote Link to post

I am going to shoot it against his Mk4 with its Mamba and satnav when he gets back. At our club of course in public..... 1 Quote Link to post

John Stott 202
Fair play JS Go on tell then ? What's the sight from usa , or is it all hush hush lol Atb Posted a picture in Optics awhile back David. If you google "See All" they are in Idaho. It will fit on anything. Needs a Weaver rail. No batteries, the front block is fibre and gathers light, the rear a magnifier. You line up a black triangle point on a target after zeroing via two screws. Its parallax free as well. As long as you can see the target you will hit it. I tried red dots and stuff as my eyes are a bit iffy, this is brilliant mind and tough. Only weighs a few ounces too so the handling improves. I had tried mounting front blades on a few barrels as you know no PCP comes with irons ( stupid omission ) I could never get the weld to hold as the blades are so small. Anyhow it works a treat this, used it indoors for rats and lately on rabbits too. I keep its use to about 35 yards outside on live stuff. However it will knock FT centres out at fifty or so yards. Its only limitation is what you can see with the naked eye. Tried it on a rimmy but its the distance thing again, then an S410 in .22 but same thing with the drop. .17 however with the more level trajectory and its great. I love irons but trying to get a PCP set up with them is a pain, and if you are like me I like shooting different things to make me think what I am doing. Some right codswallop is spoken about optics for PCP's I think. Folk spend a fortune mounting sights that are just too complex. All of my optics are basic Hawke or BSA with mildot reticles. Never more than x50 magnification, I prefer x40 though. It saddens me that the FT crowd are bringing their target kit into HFT now, thats not what HFT is about. They should stay in their own discipline. I always say learn to shoot with irons and keep that skill by practice, but it seems lost nowadays. Still, a fool and his money are soon parted!
