Raymond 618
Headed out with Philip of here and his 7 year old son. Had a great day. The little fella was deadly. The face he made when I pulled the first rabbit out of the hole I dug, pricless. He wasnt afraid to carry some of the ferreting gear aswell. Got to a burrow and new by the number of holes I was digging there was young in it. Eventually got down to a nest 2 young.1 was dead and the other alive. The little fella addopted the baby bunny for a while. You would have gave him a million euro and he probably wouldnt have went on the same way he was about the baby rabbit. The things he was saying about the baby. His Da was to get him a hutch in the pet shop and he was going to do this and that. I loved that I got to share this happeness with him and his Da.Near the end of the day after a few more digs I seen a rabbit near the entrance of the burrow where the ferret was at it.I asked the young lad to help me.I said I was too big to get my arm down the hole to see if there was a rabbit. He put his arm down and eventually felt the rabbit. It was almost dead and moved a bit.You want to see his face brilliant. He goes to me the rabbits moveing its still alive. Well that was his rabbit and it made his day that he was more envolved. We totaled 8 rabbits and 2 babies. The young lad is claiming 10 rabbits. Mostly does with young in them. Ferreting I love it 3 Quote Link to post
