Northern Ireland Ferrys

Recommended Posts

I traveled from scotland last year, p&o cairnryan to larne. Couldnt book a space for dug, two options( both free ), can either leave in car long as its safe, probably best with a crate or you can use ferry crate/cages.. I was expecting a room with cages etc like the website.. Theres a few cages on wheels in the vehicle deck, first come first served. Think if it was a longer journey, would be the room with cages and able to check dug.

I think you need a passport now to bring dogs to southern Ireland, even from UK. You never used to but they brought in new laws. I'm not sure if they enforce them yet but there'd be nothing to stop you ferrying to the north then driving over the border.

yes mate, need rabies jab, i think the law for rabies jab uk to ireland is being removed sometime in 2015
