Few frosts this week.here's hoping it stays cold and gets this cover knocked back a bit more.nothing better than ferreting on a nice crisp morning.

Only had one decent frost in my area and it didn't make much of a dent in the cover tbh. Was out yesterday and Ive got that many nettle stings on the back of my hands that theyre still buzzing now, all part of the game I suppose. Bring on the cold weather.

It was frosty last night but it was very patchy but it never dropped below 3.5 degrees i used to like a week of good hard frosts then wait a fortnight for the rabbits to get the message and stop breeding but if you did that now you wouldnt get any ferreting done

Minus5 here tonight apparently This time last year we were already finding nests/young/milky does,cant see it being much different this year tbh,Im out in the morning ,cant wait...love being out ,first thing,on a cold winters morning...

Had a realy nice frost on boxing day, the cover in my area has started collapsing last couple of weeks. Supposed to go down to -2 next 3 nights. Hoping for some realy cold weather for the next month or so. I packed in around the beginning of January last season because there was a lot of young about, this season Ill keep going towards the end of February regardless because I still have a fair bit to do.
